So what is a Buddha Bowl?
The original Buddha Bowls! Since 2009 we have been offering delicious vegetarian, vegan, wheat and gluten free wholefood curry ‘Buddha Bowls’ from our beautiful 1973 Citroen H van. All the food is lovingly made and very high quality; using unrefined, unprocessed ingredients and organic produce wherever possible. Real food to make you feel good and winner of Best Main Dish at the British Street Food Awards, the peoples’ choice awards at Glastonbury and favourite food at Big Feastival.
Available as either a ‘Big Buddha’ or a ‘Baby Buddha’ they contain all the following and are vegan (without the cheese) and naturally wheat and gluten free:
- Massaman curry with new potatoes, pineapple and soya chunks
- Carrot and homemade kimchi pickle
- Flash steamed seasonal greens (usually kale!)
- Organic short grain brown rice
- Organic omega seed sprinkle
- Grilled halloumi (optional)
